Facebook has introduced a video calling feature in the Android version of its Messenger Lite app on a special occasion for Women's Day. Facebook has given its information through its blog. An updated version of Facebook Messenger Lite has also arrived at the Google Play Store.
Facebook said in its blog post:'Today we are very happy to announce that we are releasing an update for a video calling on the Android version of the Messenger Lite app. After the new update, low-RAM smartphone users and those on slow internet connections will also be able to make video calls with their friends and family.

Facebook also mentioned in its blog that the number of video chats in Messenger's main app is steadily increasing. Last year, there were 17 million video chats in 2017, double that of 2016.

I tell you that Messenger Lite is a light version of the main app, through which you can make text, photo, links, photo, video, and audio-video calls. The specialty of this app is that its size is less than 10 MB. Like the actual app in this app, the video and voice calling button will appear during the chat.

Should Facebook Messenger be used?

If you use Facebook App, you will have to download Facebook Messenger because Chat Service is not available on the Facebook App. Even if you are a Facebook lite user, you can download Facebook Messenger because on Facebook you cannot do Audio Calling and Video Calling.
