A report by Economic Times quoted experts as saying that Pegasus software can track up to 50 phones simultaneously. It has been said in the same report that seven to eight million dollars are paid every year for the license of Pegasus Spyware. The arguments made by Facebook in the court said that the NSO has a contract with the Ghanaian company and 25 phones are monitored under it. On October 29, a case was filed in the California court on behalf of WhatsApp. It was stated that the NSO company is unofficially taking over its servers and communication services.
