Vijayadashami or Dussehra festival has special significance for Hindus. This festival, which is celebrated every year on the tenth day of the Shukla Paksha of Ashwin month, brings joy, enthusiasm, and newness to the public. It is a mythological belief that on this day, King Rama of Ayodhya killed the terrorist demon king Ravana of Lanka. Since then, people have been celebrating this victory memory of Lord Rama as a festival of Vijayadashami.
